The Kunstpedia Foundation is recognised by the Dutch Tax Office as an Institution for General Benefit (algemeen nut beogende instelling or ANBI with registration number 8501 69 707) and is therefore legally compelled to designate a minimum of 90% the foundations income to the benefit of the goals and aims of the Kunstpedia Foundation. |
If you listen to statistics, they will tell you that we have never been more prosperous and happy. Yet something is missing. In this rollercoaster life of ours we forgot beauty, we forgot passion, we forgot art.
Kunstpedia represents the effort to bring back the fine and decorative arts into the spotlight. We aim to enrich and open a window to those who want to look through it. This effort however is not just ours, it's yours as well. Every time you spread the word, every time you delve into this fascinating world, this project gets closer to its stated aim.
This is why we depend so much on your contribution.
Here is how you can help:
Add to the knowledge base
Whether you are museum custodian or an enthusiastic blogger, we welcome your contribution. It can be an e-book, article or a review. What's important is to become a part of it. As for the copyright issue, you will maintain all rights. We understand the value of intellectual creativity and we respect it.
Spread the word
A badge or link on your blog, a mention during a class, the topic of a discussion between friends. You have the power to direct attention to this window which opens into a more beautiful world. This whole project depends on people like you spreading the word.
Donations
Maintaining a website of this magnitude costs. We rely solely on donations from people like you, which understand what is at stake and what can be done.
Financial donations are great, but you can also contribute through other means. Maybe you can offer advertisement space in a magazine, maybe you published a new book and wish to promote it by giving a few copies away. Or, why not, maybe you have the graphical or technical skills which this project direly needs and you wish to volunteer. If you want to help and believe that you can do something in this regard, please get in touch.
No matter how you decide to contribute to this project however, we thank you. We are here for you and it is really encouraging to know that you are here for us as well.
